Pikaplant Geo H2O is a ceramic planter with an integrated water reservoir, handcrafted in our ceramics studio in Amsterdam. We designed Geo to emulate a natural aquifer, gradually filtering water into the plant’s soil as it is needed.
All you have to do is occasionally refill the reservoir and your plant does the rest. The reservoir provides water to the plant for extended periods, which means you’ll never come home to wilting plants again. From growing herbs to flowers to succulents, Geo is suitable for a wide variety of indoor plants and seeds, and any level of gardening expertise.
Just as every plant is unique, no two Geo H2Os are exactly alike. Due to the hand-made nature of this product and the use of natural materials, the pattern and tint of the Ash ceramics will vary between individual items.
Geo now also includes a disk of dehydrated potting soil to create a happy home for your new seedling!
Originally from South-East Asia, the Musa acuminata has spread across the globe thanks to its popularity and usefulness. Though used to a tropical climate, banana plants are suitable for indoor environments and can also endure high light intensity. Next to bananas, this fecund plant also produces lovely flowers so we expect them to remain one of the world’s favourites for a long time to come.
Despite its ability to take advantage of holes in the canopy, even a banana plant will suffer if it is in direct light for too long. Bright, indirect light is ideal. If you see the leaves developing yellow spots, this could be a sign of too much direct sunlight. It is also used to plentiful rainfall and must be watered frequently. A spray to mimic SE Asia’s humidity also does it a great deal of good.
