Pikaplant Jar Coffea - PREORDER!

Pikaplant Jar is a living houseplant that you never need to water. The plants are sealed airtight inside an upside-down Mason jar. All of the water inside a Jar's ecosphere remains inside, and the plants continuously recycle the water and air that they have. All you have to do is give your self-sustaining plants a nice place to live, and enjoy the view.

Pikaplant Jar is our interpretation of a bottle garden or closed terrarium. We select each seedling by hand, and before we enclose the plants in a Jar we give them the resources they need to create a well-balanced ecosystem.

The lifespan of individual plants will vary, but we offer a 3-month guarantee on every Jar ecosphere. The original Pikaplant Jar prototypes have been flourishing happily for over 60 months without opening.

Coffea arabica is indigenous to the highlands of Ethiopia, thriving in the moist, cool air. The Coffea arabica species accounts for 60% of the world’s coffee production, and the Dutch have been shipping these plants to coffee lovers around the globe since the 17th century. While it is mostly cultivated for its crop of coffee beans, we find that the Coffea deserves to be appreciated for its beauty as well.
